7 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr. is expected to return to the team on Thursday for the start of the second half of the season. The Cubs also activated relief pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. from the paternity leave on Wednesday. Known as more of a defender than offensive contributor, Almora has hit a healthy .319/.357/.438 with four home runs, 28 RBI and 48 runs in 276 at-bats this year and makes for a nice depth outfielder in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
