7 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals placed starting pitcher Miles Mikolas on the paternity list on Wednesday and recalled reliever Matt Bowman from Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move. Mikolas has been one of the best under-the-radar fantasy arms in baseball this year, going 10-3 with a tidy 2.79 ERA and 1.05 WHIP, although he's struck out just 83 hitters in 119 1/3 innings. Still, he remains a strong fantasy option for the second half, and he should still be able to make his first start of the second half sometime this weekend against the Cubs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
