7 years agoThe New York Mets are interested in elite prospects and/or major league players in return for either starting pitchers Jacob deGrom or Noah Syndergaard, according to sources. Both deGrom and Thor aren't close to free agency, so it'd take a lot in return to pry either of them away from the Mets. deGrom also leads all of baseball in ERA at the halfway point, and Thor remains a dominant starter when he's healthy. It doesn't appear likely that either high-end starter will be changing uniforms anytime soon.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
