7 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon went 6-for-12 (.500) over the weekend in the three-game series against the White Sox. Gordon posted four hits on Friday and then backed it up with his fourth triple of the season in Sunday's win against the White Sox. Gordon is having a fantastic July, hitting .333 and has hits in 14 of his last 16 games played. Gordon has done an admirable job of jump-starting the Mariners offense this season but his fantasy value takes a hit due to a lack of power. He also has coaxed only six walks through 375 at-bats this season and his on-base percentage is a lackluster .307. Gordon is a good source for stolen bases (22) and hits (108) but that is all fantasy owners can expect from him moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
