6 years agoCincinnati Reds reliever Jared Hughes picked up his third win of the season in Monday's 2-1 game against the Cardinals. Hughes entered the ninth inning down 1-0 and pitched a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. A Reds' rally in the bottom of the inning gave the team, and Hughes the win. He is now 3-3 on the season with nine holds and six saves to go with a glistening 1.56 ERA in 52 innings pitched. Hughes is a worthwhile stash at this point given his performance and talks of closer Raisel Iglesias possibly getting traded.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
