7 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil has been recalled to play some third base for the Mets. According to Joel Sherman, this move was not made because Asdrubal Cabrera has been traded. The Mets are just looking to add some depth in the infield. McNeil was slashing .342/.411/.617 with 19 home runs and 71 RBI in 88 games between Double A and Triple A this season. He could make an interesting case in deeper leagues if he does see regular playing time in New York.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
