7 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman/catcher John Hicks (rest) is out of the starting lineup for the second straight game on Tuesday. Jim Adduci will bat sixth and play first base against righty Burch Smith. Hicks is hitting .179/.258/.286 over the last two weeks, but is still someone worth owing in many fantasy leagues. He's in a small slump right now, but will hopefully be back to normal soon. Adduci could be a sleeper option against Smith on Tuesday. Adduci had two hits and two runs knocked in during Monday's contest.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
