6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Alex Verdugo picked up his first hits of the second half of the season in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Phillies, going 2-for-4 with a single and a double. The 22-year-old prospect is just 2-for-11 in the second half but is hitting a respectable .262 with an impressive 10.4% walks rate in 48 plate appearances on the season.
