7 years agoThe Oakland Athletics appear to be buyers at the trade deadline and have made their needs very clear. The A's are searching for pitching just like most teams during the trade deadline. However, Oakland is also searching for a left-handed outfield bat. Nick Martini is currently on the roster due to Matt Joyce (back) being sidelined. It's unclear which hitters the A's are targeting, but Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson could be an option. Granderson is a veteran left-handed bat who could play some outfield and DH for Oakland.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
