7 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's contest against the San Diego Padres. Russell is hitting .143/.250/.214 over the last seven days, so the Cubs will elect to give him a rest day. Javier Baez will play shortstop and bat cleanup on Friday. Baez is hitting .300/.326/.576 off right-handed pitching this season, so he is a great DFS option against righty Tyson Ross.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
