We have a 12-game slate giving us plenty of options to pick from, along with no Coors Field, so ownership should be spread out. There are a few big name arms on the bump tonight, so you will be looking to have exposure to them in your lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 8/4/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Jose Berrios - P, MIN vs KAN (FD - $10,700)
Berrios comes in as the most expensive pitcher on the slate and is facing off against a very weak Royals team. Kansas City comes in with a team wOBA sitting at .295 and a team ISO of .137. Those are some seriously bad numbers and you should feel confident with Berrios in your cash games. He has six or more strikeouts in three of his last four games while allowing three or fewer earned runs in three of those four games. The walks are a bit of an issue for him with three in two of his last three starts, so hopefully, he can keep that under control and limit the Royals.
Freddy Peralta - P, MIL vs COL (FD - $7,400)
Peralta is a bit of a riskier pick today but comes in with some success in the matchup. He started off the season with 13 strikeouts vs this Rockies team in only 5.2 innings. But as of late, he has been struggling, giving up 11 earned runs in his last three games, so certainly not the safest pick on the slate. The Rockies have a 23.6% strikeout rate this season vs right-handed pitchers, is in the bottom-10 for the league. Not the best park factor, but the potential for low ownership is here.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Yonder Alonso - 1B, CLE vs LAA (FD - $3,400)
Alonso comes in with a .352 wOBA and a .211 ISO this season vs right-handed, which should give him some nice power upside tonight vs Felix Pena, who is giving up 1.29 HR/9 to lefties this year. His price is great and with the Indians coming in with an implied run total set at 5.38, they should be in a good spot to put numbers on the board.
Scooter Gennett - 2B, CIN @ WAS (FD - $3,500)
Gennett seems a bit too cheap today considering his matchup and I like the Reds as a stacking option today with their implied run total set at 4.43. Gennett is facing off against Jeremy Hellickson, who is giving up 1.37 HR/9 to lefties this year along with a 30% fly ball rate. Gennett has a .192 ISO vs righties, so it lines up for him to hit one over the fence tonight.
Kyle Seager - 3B, SEA vs TOR (FD - $2,700)
Seager is another player who is too cheap today, even though he has been struggling as of late. He comes in with no home runs since 7/4, but still has a .189 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season. He is up against Marco Estrada, who is giving up a massive 50% fly ball rate to lefties, along with .325 wOBA, so plenty of power potential to be had for Seager.
Tim Beckham - SS, BAL @ TEX (FD - $3,100)
Beckham has been hitting in the two hole for the Orioles as of late, which should put him in a spot to continue his multi-game hit streak, which is only two right now. He is facing off against Mike Minor, who is giving up a .342 wOBA to righties this season, which will put the Orioles and their 4.88 implied run total in a nice spot tonight.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
A.J. Pollock - OF, ARI vs SFG (FD - $3,700)
Pollock makes a great one-off in a GPP lineup tonight, since he has plenty of power on his own, and doesn't need to be in a full stack in order to reach value. He has a five-game hitting streak in the works, with two home runs in that span. He is up against Andrew Suarez, who is giving up 1.47 HR/9 to right-handed hitters this season.
Jordan Luplow - OF, PIT vs STL (FD - $2,700)
Luplow is cheap today and will help you get up to the more expensive pitchers on the slate. He hit leadoff last night, so hopefully, we see him there again tonight with his .158 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season. Power upside along with some savings are a hard combo to pass up tonight.
