6 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals have claimed starting pitcher Tyson Ross off of waivers from the San Diego Padres. Ross had been in trade rumors prior to the July 31 deadline but was not moved at that time. The 31-year-old is 6-9 with a 4.45 ERA in 123 1/3 innings pitched. Ross has had an up-and-down season, but the move to a relatively better team should boost his fantasy value a little. He is worth a look in deeper points leagues and also as a streamer depending on his matchups.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
