Homer Bailey Gets Hit Hard Monday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Homer Bailey turned in his first poor start since returning from the disabled list in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Mets. Bailey lasted just 3 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on 11 hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with two strikeouts. The veteran now has a 6.19 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP through 80 IP this season. He has not pitched at a high enough level to justify a roster spot in fantasy leagues and things will not get easier for him in his next matchup Monday against the Indians.
