6 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts (rest) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles. Bogaerts was seen walking with a team trainer after Saturday's Game 2 and was expected to have an X-ray, per Boston Globe's Pete Abraham, but later said he was fine. Bogaerts has been dealing with wrist issues, so the Red Sox are likely giving him a precautionary day off after playing two games yesterday. Brock Holt will get the start in his place. Holt is hitting just .194 in August so he should probably be avoided today, even against a favorable O's matchup.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
