6 years agoTwenty-six-year-old Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jake Kumerow had another big preseason game on Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching three passes on three targets for 114 yards and a touchdown. He scored the touchdown on a big run after the catch for an 82-yard-long touchdown reception. Kumerow had 76 yards on three receptions and a touchdown a week ago against Tennessee. Besides impressing in preseason games, Kumerow has stood out in training camp and is making a real push to make the team, possibly over some of the recently drafted rookie wide receivers. Optimism should largely be tempered, as Kumerow has primarily been impressing against weak, back of the depth chart competition. He would still have a very long road to getting playing time in the regular season. He shouldn’t be considered in any fantasy league format, even a deeper dynasty at this point.--Tyger McGuiggan
