7 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Tyler White will start and play first base as the team opens up a huge series with the A's. Monday night. White has really emerged over the past six weeks and is slashing .313/.362/.673 in the month of August with two triples, four doubles, five home runs, 10 runs scored and 15 runs batted in over a 15-game span. White and Co. will face A's left-hander Brett Anderson on Monday and White is slugging .690 against southpaw's this season.
