6 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Deshone Kizer has a clearly defined role in Green Bay following the departure of quarterback Brett Hundley. Kizer will serve as the clear cut back-up to Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay will be playing the Chicago Bears in Week 1 and Kizer is not expected to see any playing time. Kizer is a talented, although unrefined quarterback who struggled during his rookie year in Cleveland. We saw last year that no quarterback outside of Aaron Rodgers is really all that capable of running Green Bay’s offense. So even if Rodgers were to go down, Kizer would not be a viable fantasy option. Kizer should not be owned in any league.--Tyger McGuiggan
