6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters was utterly dominant in Week 1 versus the Atlanta Falcons. Peters, who had not played since Week 7 of the 2017 season, played 71 of the Eagles 72 offensive snaps and was nearly flawless despite working against two quality pass rushers in Vic Beasley and Takk McKinley. “Having Jason on the field makes all of us better,” center Jason Kelce said. “The guy is one of the best to ever play the game. He’s a perfectionist." Prior to tearing his ACL, the 36-year-old was the highest-rated tackle by Pro Football Focus through the first six weeks of the season.--Daniel Benjamin
