Ravens Defense Knows It Must Improve In Week 2
6 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens defense is coming off a dominating Week 1 performance, but the Ravens know they must be better against the Cincinnati Bengals if they want to earn the win on Thursday night. Baltimore held Buffalo to three points and 153.0 total yards last week. The Ravens also registered six sacks and picked off two passes against a very weak Bills offense. In the meantime, the Bengals offense scored three touchdowns and produced 330 total yards in their victory over Indianapolis. Cincinnati has some big offensive weapons with wide receiver A.J. Green, running back Joe Mixon along with tight ends Tyler Eifert and Tyler Kroft. The Bengals rolled up 146 yards on the ground in their Week 17 31-17 win over the Ravens last year. While the Ravens are much deeper defensively this year -- although a few backups will miss the game due to injury -- it would behoove fantasy owners to temper expectations against the Bengals this week.
