Ravens Projected To Select Receiver In First Round Of 2019 Draft
6 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens could add another wide receiver to their receiving corps in the opening round of the 2019 draft. Five of the six wideouts currently on the Ravens roster are newcomers, with three coming over this offseason as free agents, plus two rookies. However, John Brown is slated to be an unrestricted free agent following the season and the Ravens could cut Michael Crabtree if he doesn't live up to expectations. Currently, reserve running back Javorius Allen leads the team with 10 catches. Willie Snead tops the wideouts with nine receptions to go along with 102 yards as well as a touchdown. Brown has been a big-play receiver this season, producing team highs in yards per catch (19.9), total receiving yards (139), catches of 20 yards or longer (three) and touchdowns (two). In the meantime, Crabtree has had the case of "the drops," hauling in just eight of 16 targets for 94 yards and one touchdown.
