Jason Peters Expected To Play In Week 3
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters is expected to play in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts. Peters left in the first quarter of the Eagles 27-21 loss to Tampa Bay with a quadriceps strain. He originally suffered the injury during practice a few days prior to the game. The soon-to-be 37-year-old is expected to play this upcoming week, which is fantastic news for Week 3 starting quarterback Carson Wentz, who is making his first start since tearing his ACL. Peters will be responsible for protecting his blind side. Peters, ranked the No. 35 tackle in 2018 by Pro Football Focus, is a key cog for one of the top offensive lines in the league.
