6 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Michael Lorenzen was dominant in his first start of the season (and first start since the 2015 season) in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Brewers. Lorenzen pitched four innings, allowing one unearned run on a hit and a walk with three strikeouts. Lorenzen was on a 50-60 pitch count limit and certainly made the most of it. He has done a bit of everything this season and now has a 3.03 ERA with 52 strikeouts and 30 walks in 71 1/3 innings. The Reds have an open starter's slot for Sunday's game against the Marlins and it would be nice to see what Lorenzen could do with another start opportunity.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
