We have a small six-game slate tonight, where there is a clear top pitching option available. If you want to get up to his price you will need to find the value out there, which is limited by the lack of teams in action.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/27/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitcher
Gerrit Cole – P, HOU @ BAL (FD - $11,400)
Cole is facing off against the Orioles tonight, who come in with a 23.5% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season, along with a team wOBA sitting at .305. Cole is by far the best pitcher on the slate, but he is also the most expensive, so you will have to find the value out there on what is a smaller slate. He has eight or more strikeouts in four straight starts.
Trevor Williams – P, PIT @ CHC (FD - $9,600)
Williams and the Pirates have a chance to play spoiler against the Cubs, who badly need to be winning games. Williams has faced the Cubs two times this season, coming away with nine strikeouts in 13 innings pitched, while only allowing two earned runs. He has posted six or more strikeouts in four of his last five starts and allowing a total of four earned runs in that same span.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Freddie Freeman – 1B, ATL @ NYM (FD - $3,900)
Freeman and the Braves have their playoff spot secured, but they are still fighting for home-field advantage. Hopefully, they don’t rest their starters, as this is a very favorable matchup for them. They are up against, Jason Vargas, who is giving up a .331 wOBA to lefties and 1.33 HR/9.
Jason Kipnis – 2B, CLE @ KC (FD - $3,400)
Kipnis is up against Glenn Sparkman, who is giving up a .365 wOBA to lefties, a 33% fly ball rate and a 35% hard contact rate. That can all lead to home runs with Kipnis’ .161 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season.
Hunter Dozier – 3B, KC vs CLE (FD - $2,800)
Dozier and the Royals actually make a really nice stacking option tonight, since they are up against Josh Tomlin, who is giving up a .340 wOBA to righties and 2.54 HR/9. Dozier comes in with .207 ISO vs RHP, which is really solid for a player at his price point.
Carlos Correa – SS, HOU @ BAL (FD - $3,700)
Correa will be making his second start off the DL and is in a nice landing spot for him to get things going before the postseason. He is up against Yefry Ramirez, who is giving up 1.38 HR/9 to righties this season, along with a 44% fly ball rate. Could very easily see some home runs in this favorable hitter’s park.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Jay Bruce – OF, NYM vs ATL (FD - $2,700)
Bruce is facing off against Julio Teheran, who he has eight career hits against, with two of them being home runs. A bit of positive BvP going in the favor of Bruce, who isn’t that expensive and can be used as a one-off in GPPs.
Ian Happ – OF, CHC vs PIT (FD - $2,800)
If Kris Bryant is going to be missing a few games, Happ should see some more playing time. He comes in with a very solid .343 wOBA and .202 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season. Cubs need to win and using Happ in a stack is the right call tonight.
