Joe Flacco A Solid QB2 For Week 4
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is off to a great start to the 2018 campaign. He has tossed six touchdowns and twice posted quarterback ratings of 90 or above through the first three games, which is one-third of his last year's totals in each of those categories. The 33-year-old already has one more 300-yard game than he did in all of 2017. Flacco, who is averaging 18 fantasy points a game, has completed 63.6% of his passes this season for more than 298 yards as well as a pair of interceptions. The 11-year vet will look to continue his stellar play against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team that he has not had much success against over the last three meetings. In those meetings, the Ravens have dropped all three contests as Flacco has thrown four touchdowns and four picks while averaging a tad more than 251 yards a game. However, the Steelers are ranked in the middle of the pack versus the pass in advanced statistics (DVOA and DAVE) and have given up 733 yards along with nine touchdowns via the air in the last two games combined. With the Ravens finally having a solid receiving corps and since the two teams are projected to combine for 50 points, Flacco is a solid QB2 option against the Steelers.
