6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. looked active and ready to build on a promising rookie campaign in the team's preseason opener on Saturday. Smith Jr. finished with 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting and added in six assists as well. He made one of his three attempts from behind the arc. With the addition of Luka Doncic, there are questions about who will have the ball in his hands more, but Smith Jr. finished with triple the assists of Doncic and didn't turn the ball over.
