John Brown A Candidate For Comeback Player Of Year
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver John Brown has been everything the team could have hoped for after signing the fifth-year veteran in the offseason. Brown is off to such a good start that he is No. 2 -- behind Houston Texans defensive end J.J Watt -- in ESPN's Brian Barnwell's quarter-season awards for Comeback Player of the Year. Brown, who dealt with a cyst on his spine the previous two seasons, has 15 receptions for 338 yards and four touchdowns already. He also has become quarterback Joe Flacco's favorite target. The former Pittsburgh State star is a good play as a low-end WR3/flex option with a higher ceiling for the next few weeks.
