John Brown Is A Must-Start Against The Browns
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver John Brown has been a diamond in the rough so far this season. Brown, bothered by a cyst on his spine in years past, combined to haul in 60 receptions for 814 yards and five touchdowns over the last two seasons. This year, he has given quarterback Joe Flacco a reliable big-play receiver, as he is averaging 22.5 yards per catch and has six receptions of at least 20 yards, with three of those going for 40 yards or longer. Brown, who has produced at least 13 PPR points in each of his four contests, accounts for over 44 percent (11th most in the league) of the team's air yards, as he has 15 receptions for 338 yards along with three touchdowns. Cleveland, the Ravens Week 5 opponent, will be without cornerback Terrance Mitchell (wrist) this week, and the Browns have given up at least 15 PPR points to five receivers already. With all that said, the fifth-year receiver is a must-start in all formats.
