Aaron Rodgers Throws for 425 Yards
6 years agoGreen Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers had another big game on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers. He threw for 425 yards on 25-for-46 throwing with two touchdowns. He added 34 yards on the ground. Additionally, he threw a bubble screen to running back Ty Montgomery that went for a touchdown that was ruled a rushing attempt since the pass travelled backwards. Rodgers still seems to be hampered by the brace he is wearing on his left knee. He is throwing entirely from his arm and it affected his accuracy at points in the game, particularly when he was under pressure. There is hope that after the Week 7 bye that he can shed the brace moving forward. The offense struggled at times with a number of Green Bay’s top receivers missing due to injury. Still Rodgers tends to find a way to win games and put up big numbers even in moments of adversity. He should be considered an elite fantasy quarterback who should be started every week.
