6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid didn't have the easiest time, especially matched up with Celtics center Al Horford in Tuesday's loss to Boston, but the Cameroonian big man managed to open his 2018-2019 campaign with a double-double. Embiid put up 23 points on 9-for-21 shooting and made just one of his four attempts from three. He also grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked a pair of shots. Embiid will look to keep on track against the Bulls on Thursday, where he'll have a good chance to make an impact defensively against a team that allowed the sixth-most blocks and fifth-most rebounds to opponents last season.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
