6 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen opened the 2018-2019 season with a double-double in Wednesday's loss to the Detroit Pistons. The second-year big man scored 17 points on 6-for-10 shooting while also adding in 10 rebounds and four blocked shots. Allen is looking like a strong contender to be among the league leaders in blocks this season and will look to keep that going on Friday against the Knicks, who ranked near the middle of the league in rebounds and blocks allowed last season thanks to the presence of center Enes Kanter.
