6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton didn't end Friday night with his second triple-double of the season, but he did continue to show why he deserves to start on this Pelicans team and on fantasy squads as well. Payton was 5-for-7 from the field for 11 points and also added in six rebounds and six assists, along with a block. The former Orlando guard won't put up eye-popping numbers this season, and he could even struggle against a good Clippers defensive backcourt on Tuesday, but he's also shown that he can contribute across the board to help fantasy owners fill their stat sheets.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
