6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley went for 12 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists across 27 minutes in Tuesday's 116-109 road loss against the New Orleans Pelicans. He was 5-for-10 from the field while adding a three-pointer, and he turned the ball over just twice in the solid showing. It was his first double-double of the season, and, in fact, it was the first time he had hit double digits in the points department. He entered with just 11 total points over the first three games while shooting a disastrous 25.9 percent (2-for-17) from the field. Perhaps this game will jump-start his offense.--Daniel Dobish
