6 years agoWinnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien scored with 6:45 to go in regulation to snap a 2-1 tie in a win against the Detroit Red Wings on Friday night. The goal gave him 500 points for his NHL career, too. The Jets will have just three total games between now and Nov. 9, as they play in Toronto on Saturday and then a pair of games Nov. 1-2 against the Florida Panthers in Finland, so fantasy owners were glad to see some production from Byfuglien. He entered the day with just an assist over his past three outings, and won't play very frequently with the heavy travel coming up.--Daniel Dobish
