6 years agoWinnipeg Jets left wing Kyle Connor scored a goal on three shots across 17:57 of ice time in Friday's 2-1 victory against the Detroit Red Wings. The 21-year-old grew up in nearby Clinton Township, Michigan. More importantly, Connor now has five goals and 10 points through his first 11 games, including a goal with five points during his current four-game point streak. He'll get a crack at Toronto on Saturday. He had an assist on Oct. 24 in the first meeting with the Maple Leafs.--Daniel Dobish
