6 years agoSan Jose Sharks center Timo Meier scored a goal with a team-high six shots on net in Friday's 4-3 loss on the road against the Carolina Hurricanes. He also blocked a shot while delivering a hit in his 17:58 of ice time. The Swiss-born pivot is now working on a seven-game point streak, posting five goals and eight points, including goals in each of the past three outings. He also has two power-play goals over the past two contests. He'll look to add to the streak when the Sharks swim into the Pond on Sunday at Anaheim.--Daniel Dobish
