6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes left wing Sebastian Aho picked up an assist with a plus-one rating in Friday's 4-3 shootout win against the San Jose Sharks, extending his point streak to 10 games. It's the second-longest point streak in Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes history to start a season, behind only Ron Francis' 11-game streak to begin the 1984-85 season in Hartford. Aho nearly provided the heroics in the shootout, too, but he rang one off of the post. Luckily Brock McGinn picked him up to send the fans home happy in Raleigh.--Daniel Dobish
