Carmelo Anthony Makes First Start With Rockets
6 years agoHouston Rockets small forward Carmelo Anthony made his first start of the season in Friday's 133-113 loss against the Los Angeles Clippers. He stepped up his game with a season-high 24 points, hitting 8-for-18 from the field, including 6-for-10 from behind the 3-point line. He added two rebounds, two blocked shots and a steal while being whistled for five personal fouls over his 34 minutes. He is averaging 23.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots with 4.5 three-pointer per game over the past two, as he helps fill the void with injuries decimating the Rockets at the moment.
