Markieff Morris Goes For Baker's Dozen In Loss
6 years agoWashington Wizards power forward Markieff Morris finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, two blocked shots and an assist in Friday's 116-112 loss against the Sacramento Kings across 37 minutes. He was a very effective 6-for-10 from the field, although he struggled at the free-throw line missing both of his attempts. He did get whistled for a technical foul late in the second quarter after a brief dust-up with Buddy Hield. After an ugly shooting night in the opener against the Miami Heat, he has shot 58.5 percent (24-for-41) over the past four contests, averaging 16.3 points and 6.8 rebounds over the impressive span. He is a solid No. 4 or 5 forward in most fantasy formats.
