6 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco bounced back from two below-average games with a solid performance against the Saints in Week 7. While Flacco completed just 59 percent of his passes for 279 yards last week, he also tossed two touchdowns and no interceptions, marking the first time that has occurred in three weeks. It also was just the second time in five weeks and fourth time overall that he had multiple touchdowns in a game. The 11th-year pro is currently averaging 17.1 fantasy points a game and will look to at least match that total against a Carolina defense that is allowing the 16th most passing yards (260) a game and seventh highest completion percentage (68.1 percent). The Panthers have not given up more than two passing touchdowns in a game. However, each of the last five quarterbacks that they have faced have posted two touchdowns, and three of them have gone over 300 yards. As a result, Flacco is a solid QB2 for Week 8, as he will likely throw a lot and he has not turned the ball over much (four interceptions).--Daniel Benjamin
