6 years agoOttawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson allowed four goals on a ridiculous 53 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights. You knew that Ottawa's defensive effort would be damaged when Erik Karlsson was dealt to the San Jose Sharks in the preseason, but this has been crazy. Anderson is facing a ton of rubber every night, and he is still giving his team a chance to win. He has made 31 or more saves in seven of his nine appearances so far. Anderson is on a cold streak, going 0-2-1 across his past three while letting in 14 shots, so a rest might be coming soon.--Daniel Dobish
