6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Scott Darling allowed three goals on 31 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 home loss against the Boston Bruins. He looked fairly sharp in his regular-season debut, as he was slow to recover from a preseason hamstring injury. The goaltender picture in Carolina is rather muddled at the moment. Darling is now back, Petr Mrazek had made his case for more starts and Curtis McElhinney has played well at times, and is also in the mix. For now, it appears the team will keep around three netminders, but that's not the ideal situation.--Daniel Dobish
