6 years agoNew Jersey Devils center Brian Boyle notched his first career hat trick in Monday's 5-1 win on the road against the Pittsburgh Penguins. As if that wasn't amazing enough, the performance came on "Hockey Fights Cancer" night. Boyle was diagnosed with a form of bone marrow cancer during training camp last season, and return last November. Both of his goals in the second period came on the power play, and he is now up to six goals. If and when there is a made-for-TV movie about Boyle and his fight, there are sure to be highlights from this game. Amazing night.--Daniel Dobish
