6 years agoThe Philadelphia 76ers have acquired guard/forward Jimmy Butler from the Timberwolves. In exchange, Minnesota will receive forwards Robert Covington and Dario Saric along with a 2022 second-round pick. The 29-year-old will now head back East in a move that will undoubtedly make the Sixers a contender. If Butler can stay healthy and free of off-the-court drama, he will continue to make a significant fantasy impact moving forward in a much tamer conference. Averaging 21 points in 36 minutes of action this season, the 30th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft will likely see a slight drop in minutes now that he is away from a coach Thibodeau team that doesn't dive deep into the bench.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
