Aaron Jones Breaks Out In Week 10
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones ran for 145 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns in a Week 10 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. He added three catches for 27 yards on five targets. Jones was the focal point of Green Bay’s offense and saw a heavy workload early in the game. While Jones has seen the majority of the touches over the past few weeks, this was the first game during which the game script allowed for Green Bay to continue to rely on the running game. Jones is an electric runner who has the ability to produce like a RB1 every week. What has held him back is a hesitance from the coaching staff to actually give him carries. Unfortunately, Green Bay doesn’t have a great track record of properly utilizing their best players, so touches will likely remain an obstacle going forward. On account of this, Jones should be considered an RB2 with high-upside going forward.
