6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning left wing Yanni Gourde posted an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 road loss against the Buffalo Sabres. He has posted three goals with six points over his past six outings, and he has seven goals with 18 points and a plus-5 rating through 18 contests. Gourde is performing at a point-per-game clip over an extended period, and he is on pace to eclipse the career-high 25 goals and 64 points he posted last season. Gourde was handed an extension earlier this season and it appears to be money well spent for the organization.--Daniel Dobish
