6 years agoGreen Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 332 yards on 21-for-30 throwing with two touchdowns and no turnovers in a losing effort against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night. While it wasn’t a monster stat line, his performance both on the field and in fantasy was improved from the past few weeks. His accuracy and mobility are conspicuously better and he limited the number of throwaways. While there may be some focus on a missed third down throw late in the game, Rodgers had a number of huge plays that very few people in NFL history could ever make. Rodgers has been dealing with a knee injury he suffered in Week 1 but is looking close to 100%. While, his offensive scheme is outdated and he only has one wide receiver that can be relied upon, Rodgers should improve as the season goes on. His performance this season may be a bit of a disappointment for anyone who grabbed Rodgers early in their draft, but Rodgers is still an elite fantasy quarterback who should be started in nearly all circumstances.--Tyger McGuiggan
