Green Bay Defense Gives Up 27 Points To Seattle
6 years agoThe Green Bay Packers defense gave up 27 points in a Thursday night matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. The had one fumble recovery early in the game but otherwise forced no turnovers. The special teams unit looked improved with the return of preferred return man Trevor Davis but was once again plagued by penalties. The secondary continues to suffer from injuries and has been able to be exploited. The only bright spot was the performance of third-year OLB Kyler Fackrell who filled in for an injured Nick Perry. Fackrell had three sacks on the day and finally provided the outside pass rush that has been missing from the defense all year. The Packers DST was not expected to have a big game in Week 11. They should only be used situationally, particularly against inexperienced quarterbacks. They do not need to be rostered but will be a good option for Week 13 when they take on the Arizona Cardinals.
