6 years agoBuffalo Sabres right wing Jason Pominville was scoreless with two shots on goal in exactly 15:00 of ice time in Monday's 5-4 overtime win against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was playing in his 681st game with the organization, tying Rick Martin for ninth-most in franchise history. He scored the game-winning goal with an assist and plus-2 rating in Minnesota on Saturday night against his former team, but he has been running hot and cold this season. Fantasy owners can't complain too much about his nine goals, 17 points and plus-6 rating through 21 outings, they just might wish it were more evenly spread out.--Daniel Dobish
