6 years agoMontreal Canadiens center Jesperi Kotkaniemi picked up two assists with a plus-1 rating and one shot on goal in 16:41 of ice time in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss against the Washington Capitals. He also won 10 of his 16 faceoff attempts for a team-best 62.5 percentage (min. six chances). The teenage Finn, selected third overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, is heating up in November after a rather cool October. He has three goals with eight points across 10 games since flipping the calendar from October. Kotkaniemi is a decent low-end play in deeper seasonal pools, and a must-have in long-term keeper formats.--Daniel Dobish
