6 years agoFlorida Panthers left wing Mike Hoffman scored a goal on six shots with a hit in 15:46 of ice time in Monday's 7-5 road win against the Ottawa Senators in his first game back in Canada's capital city since being traded during the offseason. He extended his point streak to 16 games, posting nine goals with 10 assists during the streak. Hoffman admitted that this goal was extra special. "That was a big goal," Hoffman said. "That was I was able to do it made it that much more special to put the nail in the coffin." He'll look to make it 17 games in a row with a point on Wednesday at rival Tampa Bay.--Daniel Dobish
